TORONTO POLICE BUST GAME & MOVIE PIRATES
New movies and games were copied while you wait

Toronto Police charged the owner and an employee of Nanotech Computers, 404 Royal York Rd. today after a seach warrant executed on the store resulted in the seizure of several computer systems and about 1000 CDs, alleged to be copies of new movies and video games.

The raids followed a complaint that the store burned copies of movies still in the theatres or the latest video games for X-Box, Playstation or Nintendo on blank CDs while the customer waited.

2 Etobicoke residents have been charged with offences under the Copyright Act.
